| So it is 10:30 in the evening, a rare time for me to be online. But do you know why I am online at such an ungodly hour? Because I am not going to school tomorrow! And would you care to know why? Because I don't want to! A mental health day seems perfect for a chilly-billy Monday.
Alas, I have finally brought myself to type an entry. But I can't really think of what to say...
I've been feeling the holiday spirit in a rare enthusiastic form since before Thanksgiving. I have, in all seriousness, been Christmas shopping at the mall for the past three Sundays. And today shan't be the last time I go, though I'm pretty much finished by now.
School gets gayer and gayer, as the weather gets colder and colder. If it weren't for my morning (and sometimes afternoon as well) hot chocolates at Dunkin' Donuts I don't know how I'd get by every day.
Hmm...there really is nothing to say, nothing very prominent that I'd care to share with all of you, my lovely and devoted readers.
Ta-ta! | | |
| The holidays are coming, the holidays are coming!
It's the most wonderful time of the year! Any day now, the Christmas CDs are making a comeback out of their dusty pile of negligence.
I've been meaning to write for the longest time, but procrastination is beginning to take its toll on my usually very reliable self. That's just peachy. It's not like I haven't written though, because I have been, just not to you crazy Internet freaks. You know, my very personal opinions on life and such. A girl must have her privacy!
Nothing too extraordinary has happened to me lately. Except that we met Anne Rice, Tina Beena and the Banana and I. Which was pretty damned amazing, except that I wasted away my beautiful gift certificate on a book about Jesus that I don't really feel like reading. We all must make sacrifices, I suppose!
And...er...HARRY POTTER COMES OUT FRIDAY! I'm ready, gots me a nice Ronald Weasley desktop wallpaper and everything.
So those are the highlights of my life at this point in time.
School is gay. Same thing, different day. Lately, it's nice just to have days that are okay, neither good or bad. It's the in-between, something people don't usually appreciate. My grades are pretty good, though, at least the ones I got so far. And I have retreat at some point in time this week, I think Friday. I shall be very angry if my Tina is not in my retreat group! My wrath will be experienced! But dress-down on Harry Potter is never a bad thing. Except I miss two tests that day, which I shall have to make up at some time, nevermind the classwork, which is a bitch. Ah, well, damn them.
Love,

| Dear, I fear we're facing a problem...
Wow. This gap between updates is a big one, especially for me!
So, being that my memory isn't the sharpest, I cannae recall everything I've done since the last time I wrote. So I shall give you the highlights!
The most important thing that has happened in my life recently is...discovering my mother is pregnant! Hahaha! Isn't that wonderful? I am going to have a brother! Which is definitely going to be a new experience, but I am excited, since I do love babies. A little boy! He will be a Mozart lover, I can tell ye that. He's due in the middle of March, which is also different, since my sisters and I are all born late in the year. So far, no names have been chosen. Apparently, my mother doesn't like Lucian, Armand, or Marius. Ah well, no matter. I shall call him Marius anyway! *cackling*
Umm...hmm. Well, I spent last night at Tina's house. We made more videos (non-gay, of course...). One involved ketchup and a butter knife, and most of the rest of them were just us dancing around and stuff. We are excellent indie filmmakers, I tell you.
And may I wish you all HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Tomorrow a sick party will occur at my Glendale residence! Tina and Banana will be there! And you drop by if you happen to be in the neighborhood (which I pray you won't be. =). Candy will be eaten! Skanky costumes will be worn! Faces will have freaky pallors! Amongst those, other things. Oh yes, and there will be blood.
Well, there it is.
Word to ya mutha,

| My my my.
Last week was a doozy. All I can remember is sleeping over Tina's on Tuesday and then there being a memorial mass for Mr. Greene on Friday. Father Keeney was there, which is always cool beans, and I guess being at a church ceremony brought out some part of me again. I've been so confused with religion lately, so it brought back the faith I remember always having had. I can't say I'll follow each and every doctrine of Catholicism, but it feels more secure actually believing in God and trying not to question my beliefs into disbelief again.
But, anyway. I went to the mall with Kristen on Saturday and bought some nice warm clothes, of which I had none previously. Ahh, sweaters! Feel so good on the skin...yes.
Then on Sunday I went to Open House at SJP. Most. Boring. Thing. Ever. 3 hours of sitting at a table. But Banana was there for some of it and I just talked to my Polish Club homies and ate cookies. After that, I raced to Brooklyn and went to Tina's house.
From there, we ventured to Madame Tussaud's wax museum! That was an adventure in and of itself. We took pictures with Van Helsing (*drool*), Ozzy, Tony Bennett, Susan Sarandon (Rocky Horror homage), Geoge Clooney, Brad Pitt (Guess who felt up his ass? Seriously.), Madonna, Tina Turner, the Beatles, Mick Jagger, Jon Bon Jovi, Prince, Janis Joplin, Charlie Chaplin, Dracula, Lucy, Desperate Housewives, Paris Hilton, Napoleon ('Nuff said...my favorite), Dalai Lama, the Pope, some unknown dude, and that's as far as my memory shall serve me. A couple of times Tina and I got confused, and mistook real people for statues and vice versa. =) Oh, and we were stalked in the House of Wax movie thing by this scary man! He followed us, and kept asking me my name and threatening to bite me and he actually didn't leave until we got out of it! It was so frightening, Tina was just kind of ducking behind me and leaving me in the lurch with this scary man. And we were all huddled and linking arms and some dude pointed at us and said "Haha, prom date!" *confused shrug*
Anyway, it was just very interesting. The night was spent watching Immortal Beloved AHH NUTWIG VIGGY...aka Beethoven! Mmm. And we watched Vanity Fair, and you know, there was Neopolitzen and all. I slammed my head into a sharp corner and now have a bump, and ironically Tina ended up doing precisely the same thing. *eerie music* We just did really super cool Kearns-Tina things.
Today we actually woke up early! 9:30 kiddies! We went out in search of a video game to buy because we needed some variety in our day. We didn't find one, but just ate some chicken and left. Tina ended up buying this cool beans game that I can't remember the name of but I really want to play it even though I shall fail miserably at doing so on the internet anyway, so it was a pretty futile journey. And we made a very interesting series of Phantom re-enactment tapes in which Tina was Christine and I was both Phantom and Raoul. Very good stuff right there. We might even just send it to Conan! Ahh, so later on I went home and here I am!
I think I have a cold.
You are an ubersexual. Flaunt that.
Geez. I go into far too much detail!

| Don't you want me, baby? Don't you want me, OHH!
I hardly know where to begin! It's been so bizarre.
Alright. So on Friday, I slept over by Tina's. (Surprise.) We had an all-day movie marathon, which consisted of...er, Legend (We finally watched the whole thing without falling asleep! Brownie points for us!), Amadeus (The movie that just goes on...and on...and on...), and Moulin Rouge (Which I normally cry to, but you know, Tina just has no heart.)! I can't remember too much else, just food and lots of Neopolitzen and Carvel and Onion Rings.
On Saturday I returned to my humble abode. And did homework. And just as I finish, who calls? TINA! And I get to go to the opera, Madama Butterfly. And that was just an experience to be forever remembered and recorded in some type of log.
It was raining the whole evening. Of course, I wear these high-heeled sandal-ish type shoes, so my poor feet are just wet and numb. And apparently I wowed Tina with my glow-in-the-dark watch during the performance, and there was a bit of snickering at several parts, like where we heard squall and at some perverted parts. What children we are! Cultured children that is.
After it was over, it took about an hour to get a cab. I have lost all respect for NYC taxi drivers, leaving three women out in the cold rain late on a Saturday night! And of course, I also had no coat, so Tina (my gentleman) provided warmth by means of body heat as we desperately searched Manhattan hailing cabs whilst also trying to hold up an umbrella. Which didn't work too well, since we all know we're not the most graceful people. When we finally did get a cab, Tina started crying over her Phantom shirt, which her mom believed to have suffered a bad end in the dryer! Luckily it didn't, as we soon discovered after returning and having some chocolat!
And today we went to Outback!
Who knows what tomorrow shall hold?
Truth, Beauty, Freedom, and Love to you all!
